Shirin Kouklanfar is a dynamic professional with deep expertise in stakeholder engagement and inclusive project management. Before joining New West, Shirin served as the Director of Operations for the Alberta United Conservative Caucus, where she played a crucial role in advising senior officials and strategically aligning stakeholder efforts to advance policy initiatives that resonate with diverse community needs. Her previous experience at the University of Calgary saw her guiding students through practicum placements and spearheading a successful  Fall Student Orientation, showcasing her talent for organizing large-scale events. With dual BAs in Political Science and Psychology from the University of Calgary, Shirin brings a well-rounded perspective to her work. When she's not navigating the intricacies of public affairs, you can find her exploring the Rocky Mountains with her dogs and cat, blending her love for adventure with a keen appreciation for nature.
