Sarah brings noteworthy experience in the energy, environmental and defense industries to New West Public Affairs.


Sarah holds a Bachelor of Arts, Honours in Political Science with a double concentration in International Relations and Area Studies (Global South) from Carleton University. She is a life member of the Golden Key International Honours Society.


While in university, Sarah worked in the House of Commons for her local Member of Parliament, the Honourable Ron Liepert. Since returning to Calgary, she has been involved in a number of successful provincial and federal political campaigns focused on ensuring the best representatives are elected to public office.


Sarah’s most recent role before joining New West Public Affairs was in Communications at Tervita Corporation. There she developed content for internal and external audiences focusing on informing and engaging all stakeholders to enhance Tervita’s reputation and market leadership.


Passionate about her local community, Sarah sits on the Future Leaders sub-committee of the World Petroleum Council of Canada, the Women in Industry committee for the 24th World Petroleum Congress, the Equal Voice Calgary steering-committee, and serves on her federal constituency board.
