All MLAs, save two Calgary area seats where the UCP have launched a judicial recount in Calgary Acadia and Calgary Glenmore have been sworn in.

The Alberta election was kicked off a week ago today, and while much of week one featured traditional media availabilities, policy announcements and supporter events, both the UCP and NDP have since had to change gears due to the wide-reaching scope of wildfires in the province.

Both the UCP and NDP campaigns are ready to go for the election set to be called on Monday.

There’s just one full work week left before an election is called in Alberta on Monday, May 1.
