Born and raised in Calgary, Matt brings a well-developed understanding of the ever-changing political landscape in Alberta to New West Public Affairs.

Matt is currently studying Public Policy at Mount Royal University, with a focus on technology, energy and fiscal policy. He assists New West with legislative research, the delivery of strategic communications, government stakeholder mapping and the drafting of policy briefs.

Outside of work, Matt is an avid hiker and spends many of his weekends enjoying the beauty of Alberta’s Rocky Mountains.
