A fourth generation Calgarian, Graham offers insight into the government apparatus, notably in the environmental, climate and cultural policy areas.

Graham achieved an undergraduate degree in environmental economics and public policy from the University of Ottawa. While studying, he worked as a page in the House of Commons and as a research assistant. Graham also had the opportunity to live and work in France for four months at Canada’s National First World War Memorial at Vimy Ridge.

Following this, Graham joined the federal public service as a policy analyst in the Official Languages Branch. He helped organize national consultations on Canada’s linguistic policy, address stakeholders’ proposals and concerns and table bill C-32, an Act for the Substantive Equality of French and English. He offers experience in stakeholder relations, development of legislation and public speaking to New West.

Fluently bilingual, Graham recently completed a graduate degree in environmental economics and climate change at the London School of Economics and Political Science. He splits his time between Calgary and Fernie during ski season and is an unabashed enthusiast of both cycling and autos.
