Christopher is a strategic communications and public policy professional with almost a decade of experience in federal and provincial politics. Christopher draws on his experience in issues management, communications, and legislative affairs to help New West Public Affairs clients understand how to navigate the world of political decision making to help them drive the outcomes they need.

Prior to joining New West Public Affairs, Christopher served in a number of roles in the Progressive Conservative government in Ontario, including as the Director of Issues Management and Media Relations to the President of the Treasury Board, and as the Senior Advisor for Issues Management and Legislative Affairs to the Minister of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade. He also spent many years on Parliament Hill working in a variety of capacities in the Office of the Leader of the Official Opposition including as the Press Secretary and Director of Communication to the Leader of the Official Opposition. Christopher has federal and provincial campaign experience, having worked nomination races, local campaigns, and in national campaign headquarters.  

Over his career in politics, Christopher has provided strategic counsel to Ministers, Members of Parliament, and Party Leaders on matters such as foreign policy, labour relations, procurement, and emergency management.

Christopher holds a Master of Political Management from Carleton University and an Honours Bachelor of Social Science in Political Science from the University of Ottawa.
