Prior to joining New West, she represented the interests of clients across Canada at Postmedia Content Works, managing intricate multimedia campaigns for publication on Postmedia’s major outlets.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts, Honours in English Literature and Political Science from Queen’s University, where she completed an undergraduate thesis and volunteered with several student-led initiatives. While studying, Alysha also worked as a Social Media Manager at URBA Media and Senior Editor at the Queen’s Journal.

From a young age, Alysha has worked to uplift underrepresented voices and elect outstanding candidates to public office. She is a fierce advocate for the arts, and enjoys watching theatre and writing poetry in her spare time.
