Sarah Painchaud


Sarah Painchaud graduated from Carleton University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts, Honours in Political Science and is a life member of the Golden Key International Honours Society.

While studying at Carleton University, Sarah worked in the House of Commons for her local Member of Parliament, the Honourable Ron Liepert. She also sits on the board of the Calgary Signal Hill electoral district association (EDA) and is a member of the EDA’s youth committee.

Sarah brings to New West Public Affairs experience in the energy, environmental and defense industries. Her most recent role was in Communications at Tervita Corporation where she developed content for internal and external audiences focusing on informing and engaging all stakeholders to enhance Tervita’s reputation and market leadership, while stewarding the company’s brand. Sarah also spent time in Health, Safety and Environment and Human Resources while at Tervita.

Sarah is actively involved her community, volunteering regularly at the Calgary Drop-In & Rehab Centre and coaching for the South Calgary Ringette Association.
