Keith McLaughlin most recently spent four years as the Chief of Staff to the Minister of Municipal Affairs in the Rachel Notley Government.
Keith brings extensive experience and expertise in the machinery of government, stakeholder relations, project management and strategic communications. Using these skills and his knowledge of public policy development, Keith is committed to helping clients reach their potential and achieve their goals.
During his time in government, Keith worked closely with departmental and political officials at all three levels of government, and helped lead many strategic initiatives related to municipal governance, land use and development, taxation, and disaster management in Alberta. Keith has also managed political campaigns for progressive candidates in Alberta and Ontario. He has cultivated strong relationships across the political spectrum and his personal and professional networks span throughout the country.
Previous to government, Keith worked for the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade as an Assistant Trade Commissioner helping Canadian companies grow their international business and access new markets. Keith has also served as the President of the Alberta Student Awards Personnel Association while working as a financial aid administrator at the University of Lethbridge.
Born and raised in Calgary, Keith holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Lethbridge.
